Richard (Paris Street Portrait)

I was out wandering and shooting peel-a-part instant film on my Mamiya when Richard stopped and chatted with my wife and me. He used to shoot 8x10 Polaroid back when that film was still available and was quite curious about my camera and the instant film I was using. He had recently returned to Paris (where he grew up) after 17 years living in South America and Los Angeles. He was lamenting how much his old neighborhood (the Marais) had changed since he'd left... much less quaint, much more commercial.
